Torres del Paine Trekking The adventure of the W


The W adventure is the alternative to know Torres del Paine National Park from a prospect of living with the Nature on a circuit in which you'll tour lakes, rivers, glaciers, plains and mountain landscapes. These will be your environment for 6 days. You cannot miss this opportunity to know the best of Patagonia.

Itinerary (Departure from Punta Arenas, Chile)

Day 1
Reception of passengers / Transfer to Puerto Natales / Lodging in Puerto Natales. Optional visit on route to Otway gulf penguin colony.

Day 2
Departure on bus from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park. After arriving to Las Torres Inn area starts the hike that will take us to the foot of Torres del Paine (about 7 hours). Ascent by valley of Ascensio River. Return tom the shelter (7,30 p.m.) Dinner and lodging at Las Torres shelter.

Day 3
Early in the morning we'll initiate a new hiking day. This time by Nordenskjold lake trail until Los Cuernos shelter (5 hours). Dinner and lodging in Los Cuernos shelter.

Day 4
We’ll start this excursion day penetrating in the Valle Frances (French Valley) until the Campamento Inglés (English Camp). Box lunch. From this point its is possible to appreciate the Glaciar Frances (French glacier). The excursion keeps on until Skottsberg lake to later arrive to Pehoe lake and the same name shelter.








Day 5
On this day the hiking keeps on toward the Grey glacier (3 hours) through woods and hills of small slope. Halfway there is a point where it's possible to see the Grey lake and glacier, whose ices comes away and falls directly into the lake. Dinner and lodging in Grey shelter.

Day 6
Return to Pehoe shelter. Lunch on the shelter. In the afternoon embankment on the catamaran that navigates Pehoe lake to cross to Pudeto area and connect with the bus that will take us back to Puerto Natales where we will sleep (Patagonia Inn).

Día 7
After a well-deserved rest we'll be transferred from the inn to the bus terminal and return to Punta Arenas.
